Katie Rubstello joined the Vineyard Offshore team in 2021 as the Development Contract Administrator. She has a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in Creative Writing from Seattle University and a M.A. in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island. In graduate school, she studied the public perceptions of aquaculture and environmental policy in Washington State’s coastal communities. Before moving into offshore wind, Katie worked as a Marine Science Educator at Save The Bay, Narragansett and as a Fisheries Technician for NOAA’s Access Point Angler Intercept Survey, gathering catch and trip information from recreational saltwater anglers in Rhode Island. She gained experience with contract negotiation and writing project proposals in the Life Sciences and Environmental Health industries. Katie grew up on the West Coast and has been living in Rhode Island for the past five years. She enjoys exploring the greater New England area by skiing, hiking, and rock climbing.
