‍(EUREKA, CA) – Vineyard Offshore Vice President and Head of External Affairs Christian Scorzoni released the below statement of support for Assembly Bill 525, a landmark strategy that significantly advances the development of offshore wind in California:

“Vineyard Offshore applauds the California Energy Commission for the comprehensive vision it has put forward in its AB 525 Offshore Wind Strategic Plan. The Plan will serve as a blueprint for building out California's offshore wind industry and achieving the state's goal of 25 GW of offshore wind by 2045. While there is significant work to be done, we are heartened by this report and look forward to working with California to deliver clean, reliable energy powered by offshore wind.”
