Ali Zarafshan, Foundation Design Manager, has 14 years of successful commercial scale project engineering, design, and development. He has worked in the offshore wind industry since 2013, leading the engineering of the first operational project in the US (Block Island). He is a subject matter expert in the field of offshore wind turbine foundations and other dynamically sensitive structures. Ali holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in 4 States. He Joined Vineyard Wind Project as foundation design manager in 2020.
