Dr. Laura Nagy has joined the company as Permitting and Environmental Lead for the West Coast. Nagy was most recently senior director of permitting and environmental, U.S., for Avangrid Renewables. While serving in this position, she received the Andrew Linehan Award for Environmental Excellence from American Clean Power in 2022. Previously, she was principal biologist for renewable energy clients of engineering, testing, and certification firm DNV and natural resources lead for energy consultancy Tetra Tech.

Laura holds a Ph.D. in evolution and ecology from Dartmouth College, an M.S. in zoology from the University of Arkansas, a B.A. in biology from Oberlin College, and served as a post-doctoral ecologist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
