Dana Rebeiro, Massachusetts Community Liaison, focuses on community outreach and engagement for Vineyard Wind’s projects. Recently, Dana served on the New Bedford City Council where she advocated for homeowners and working residents in the city on various community issues, building partnerships with different organizations to raise the profile at city and state level. While serving in council Dana collaborated with the New Bedford Port Authority to bring the aquaculture industry to the city, helping to diversify an already thriving maritime industry in the region. She worked closely with the International Longshoremen’s Association to advocate for much needed improvements to the Pier. Dana proudly serves on the committee for the Cape Verdean Recognition Parade as her Grandmother was one of the founders. She sits on the steering committee of AHA! a highly celebrated monthly arts and culture event in New Bedford. In her spare time Dana enjoys playing piano and drums, writing screenplays and watching the Boston Celtics.
