Jeannine Louro, Vineyard Offshore's Education Initiatives Manager, spearheads the designing, development, and installation of the Offshore Wind Energy Education Exhibits in both New Bedford and Martha's Vineyard. She is also the driving force behind the creation and leadership of the Offshore Wind Energy Education Programs for local K-12 students.
Before embarking on her journey with Vineyard Offshore, Jeannine dedicated 8 years to developing and delivering captivating, thought-provoking, and inquiry-based programs that engage audiences and guide them on immersive educational adventures through interactive exhibits and living classrooms across the Southcoast region. Her notable contributions include roles at esteemed institutions such as the New Bedford Whaling Museum, Save the Bay, and the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
Jeannine is a New Bedford native based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts and holds a degree in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability from the University of New Hampshire.
