Jennifer Simon Lento serves as Chief Legal Officer for Vineyard Offshore. Jennifer provides legal counsel across all sectors of the company’s portfolio including development, contracting, legislative and administrative initiatives, and financing. Jennifer served as the internal project lead and closed the first debt financing deal for a United States offshore wind project as General Counsel for the Vineyard Wind 1 project. Jennifer has been practicing law in the renewable energy and environmental sectors for more than 16 years. She received her Juris Doctorate from New Jersey’s Rutgers School of Law, and her Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
