Laura George focuses on Federal permitting of Vineyard Offshore’s projects as Permitting Manager. With the permitting team she interfaces with the technical development team to develop and implement permitting strategy that will advance projects to construction. She also oversees compliance with leases and permits during the project development phase.Prior to joining Vineyard Offshore, Laura worked as an environmental consultant, supporting a wide range of projects and has extensive experience in Federal, state and local permitting of projects in multiple states, including projects. Throughout her career she has sought new challenges, successfully managing complex brownfield redevelopment projects with unique environmental constraints, and now supporting OSW projects with their unique challenges.Laura holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Environmental Studies and a M.S. from Rutgers University in Environmental Science. Laura enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, downhill skiing and (small) home improvement projects.
