Maggie Arruda serves as the Fisheries Coordinator for the Vineyard Wind 1 Project and the Vineyard Offshore projects. She helps support outreach engagement, workforce opportunities for fishing industry involvement and fisheries research programs.

Maggie began her journey with Vineyard Offshore in June of 2023 as the Vineyard Wind 1 Fisheries Intern. Months following that she was hired in November 2023 as part of the fisheries team. Her educational background is a bachelor’s degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island with a minor in Communications. Her strong interest in sustainable energy and love of the water lead her into the world of offshore wind.

Maggie was raised in Marion, Massachusetts and currently still resides there. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, sailing, reading, and going to concerts.
