Somie Nnachetta joined Vineyard Offshore’s Commercial Team as a Business Development Analyst where she supports the team on bid development, new market research, lease auction strategy and more. Her academic background includes a 2022 Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with a specialization in Geophysics from the University of Texas at Dallas where she conducted research on the environmental impact of uncontrolled coal fires and carbon pollution in Africa. Prior to joining the team, Somie gained experience in energy markets and offshore wind through internships with LevelTen Energy and Vestas. Beyond her professional commitments, Somie enjoys boxing and listening to music, particularly rock and musicals, during her leisure time.
